£1,100 Donated to Local Foodbanks

It has become a WCP festive tradition that every year each of our offices nominate a charity for a donation in lieu of Christmas Cards.

This year, however, in light of the pandemic, it was decided that all our offices would club together to support our local Food Banks with a total donation of £1,100. It’s a sad fact that so many more people are relying on these services at the moment, with statistics showing that foodbanks are now being visited by more people in one day than would usually be seen in a week. So in addition to our usual monetary donation, we started collecting items to contribute as well, from food & drinks, to hygiene products.

We are proud to have been able to help in some way, and were humbled by how grateful each charity was to receive the donations.

Safe to say, our support for local foodbanks will continue throughout the year. Thank you to these amazing charities & volunteers, for all the work you do to support our local communities, especially through such trying times.
