Saltash Funeral Directors Pengelly Funeral Service was formed by Peter Pengelly in 1982 at Landrake, moving to Saltash in 1986.

In 2007, Peter entrusted his business to Walter C. Parson, a family business originating from Stoke Climsland, Cornwall. Today, our dedicated team, headed by David Fowell, ensures that Peter’s exemplary standards are upheld.

Situated in the heart of Saltash shopping centre, this property was the ideal location to serve the local community of Saltash, and was extensively refurbished  in June 2007. David and Ayesha also serve the Torpoint office.

At our Saltash office we offer local direct cremation, competitively priced simple funerals and completely personalised traditional funeral services. Fully guaranteed pre-paid funeral plans are also available.

Our Saltash office serves Saltash, Hatt, Landrake, Tideford, St Germans and the surrounding areas.

At a very sad and upsetting time in my life with loosing my husband very recently I found David and his team 100%caring and understanding. They went above and beyond helping me at such a sad time .the care and attention was just amazing from all the team I could never thank them enough.

Ayesha was so kind and understanding when we discussed how we wanted to say goodbye to my mum, her knowledge and professionalism made us all feel genuinely safe and listened to throughout the process of organising and being at my mum's funeral. Maureen was so approachable when dealing with the necessary administrative side of the funeral service and replied really promptly. It made such a difference at a difficult time. I cannot thank David Fowell and his amazing team enough at Pengelly Funeral Service in Saltash with regard to the organising of my late husband's funeral, Chris Evans (25/08/21). From start to finish David and his team showed compassion, professionalism and above all respect to Chris and myself. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt safe knowing that my husband was in good hands. Ayesha and Maureen are also a credit to your company and I will be for ever thankful for their help with sourcing the music required for the service etc. All of our family and friends commented on how good David and the team were, pure brilliance!!
