Having used Walter C. Parson for a number of family funerals, they were an obvious choice for us when our Mum recently died. We cannot thank Vikki, Sarah and all of the team enough for their continuous support, genuine compassion and total professionalism, at such a difficult time.

My wife and I experienced a friendly, caring and professional approach from both Vikki and Sarah when visiting WCP Plymstock to arrange funeral plans this week. A local and convenient office for us and nothing appeared to be too much trouble in the arrangement of our wishes.

The second time now that I have chosen Walter Parson for their funeral services. I can't imagine that anyone else could offer such a professional yet deeply caring approach and understanding for all the arrangements that we needed to encounter along the way. Both Sarah and Vicky became "family". They listened with compassion to our requests and with their guidance made a sad time into a truly remarkable and very memorable experience. We thank you from our hearts for the love and respect that you gave to Dad on his final journey.

My dear wife Paula passed away early in the morning of Sunday 16th June 2024, from complications of her brain tumour. From the first contact with the Walter C Parsons Plymstock branch, I was nothing short of awestruck at the exceptional calibre, professionalism and compassion of their people. Absolutely everything was handled with the utmost thoughtfulness and kindness throughout, even to the extent of bending over backwards to clean, change and prepare Paula and open up specially on a Sunday afternoon, so her eldest son Alistair was able to see his mum as he had been in the air when she died. I cannot recommend these lovely people highly enough.

From the very moment I walked through the doors which I was unprepared for I was made to feel welcome and not alone. This has been the first time I have ever had to make arrangements for a funeral and this was a hard challenge as this was for my mum, who was and always will be my world, best friend and my guardian. I wanted to ensure I gave her everything she wanted and Vicky and the team helped to achieve this and more based at Plymstock. The commitment to delivering an outstanding service made a significant impact, and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge their efforts. From the moment we engaged with Vicky, it was clear that her expertise, professionalism, and dedication set you apart. The exceptional level of service she described and provided throughout the entire process went above and beyond my expectations. She was always available to ask a question and Sarah was always at the end of an email. The attention to detail, prompt responses, and willingness to go the extra mile genuinely impressed me even down to the request of animal print in the coffin for my mum down to the detail of animal print worn by all those involved in the day of my mum's funeral. In particular Vicky and her shoes. Vicky's expertise proved invaluable, and her ability to address our unique needs and challenges was exceptional. Every solution was innovative, practical, and delivered with the utmost professionalism. I can't thank you enough and please share this with Vicky and her team who again went above and beyond in making the hardest job of my life something to bear and embrace. You gave my mum everything and the best final journey she could possibly wish for. I am truly grateful.

Dearest Vikki and Sarah, Lizzie and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you both and your team for the compassionate, professional and caring manner in which you dealt with the preparation and ultimate service arrangements for our beloved Mum. You made yesterday's (10th January 24) celebration of her life a much more bearable experience and your service was attentive and seamless - Thank you. It was an extremely emotional time for us during her last few weeks, but you made the whole experience with Walter C Parsons both comfortable and sensitive in equal measure. You are an absolute credit to the company and profession that you represent. Our heart felt wishes to you for your kindness and we would like our message to be available for your existing and potential customers to see 🙏 Lizzie still has two elderly parents living locally and although it's not a subject we hope to address for quite some time, we now know that any future arrangements are safe in your hands.
