Newton Abbot Funeral Directors Walter C. Parson (incorporating Hugh Mills & Gaye) is a family business established in 1842. It has, either by inheritance or acquisition, remained in the family over seven generations.
We strive to deliver a first class service, one which would only be acceptable to a member of our own family. We believe, maintaining this strong ethos through our staff and by training them to the highest standards of the profession, we are able to consistently deliver this service to our clients.
Opened in 2009 and situated in the centre of town, our purpose built office has been thoughtfully transformed to provide a dedicated service chapel for 30 people, with customer parking beside the building.
Our Newton Abbot office serves Newton Abbot, Bovey Tracey, Teignmouth, Dawlish and the surrounding areas.
David Parslow and Neil Reeves are the resident qualified Funeral Directors and are there to help you with important arrangements.
"From our initial telephone call we were set at ease knowing that you would be there to guide us"
"Neil made what was a really sad time so much easier and more bearable, and he was so accommodating. He was really lovely throughout."
"Chloe, nothing was too much trouble at all. Answering all our questions about different aspects of the chapel of rest."
