Parson's recently conducted the funeral arrangements for my Mother, they provided an excellent service throughout the whole experience.Prior to my Mother's death I went to the Crownhill office to enquire about funeral procedures and planning.  I was provided with a very clear understanding of options for the funeral and the legal requirements.  I was overseas when Mother died and had a number of phone calls and an email correspondence with Parson's. I was given excellent clear information about what needed to be done and given guidance on how to achieve it.  On my arrival in the UK and at the funeral Parson's continued to provide an excellent service keeping me up to date and highlighting any decisions that needed to be made.As I struggled to contact the required faceless bureaucratic entities Walter C Parson was in contrast easy and a pleasure to deal with.Highly recommended.

Thank you so much to everyone at your Newton Abbot offices. My mother Thelma Skinner passed away at Newton Abbot Hospital on 2nd August and her remains were sent to yourselves.Chloe was a credit to you in her dealings with me. I cannot praise Walter C. Parson Funeral Directors enough. Matthew and the team were wonderful. They were so efficient at keeping us informed at every step of the process, they helped guide us in the decision making and recommended wonderful people, from the florist to the person who conducted the service. In what was a very difficult time, they looked after us all. Thank you.

We used the Plympton office and found them to be professional and compassionate. When we walked into the office we knew what mum wanted but not how to arrange it. From the moment we rang to make an appointment through to mum's burial they walked us through each stage, answered any questions we had and kept us updated with progress of things.Really happy with service provided and would recommend them .

I can't recommend Walter C. Parson funeral directors enough. They helped with my grandads funeral many years ago, so when my mum recently passed, we went back, and they have been phenomenal. Matthew has been looking after us, and he's handled everything wonderfully. I feel like he went above and beyond, checking in with us regularly both before the service and during, ensuring everything was exactly as we wanted, remembering not only our names and details but everyone else involved too. It was never going to be an easy thing to go through, but Matthew and everyone we spoke to at WCP made it so much more manageable. THANK YOU

When my husband died recently we approached Walter C Parson to take care of his funeral. My husband knew several members of this highly-regarded family company, and had specified them in his will. John Ware, Managing Director, visited us at home, accompanied by Emma, trainee funeral director, to discuss arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble. John liaised with Weston Mill Crematorium, where we wanted a short family cremation, and China Fleet Club, where we planned to hold a celebration of my husband's life. He visited China Fleet to make sure their sound system was compatible with his equipment.We had several phone calls and emails, particularly about the Order of Service, because I kept wanting to make amendments.The final booklet was superb - very high quality design and paper.On the day of the funeral there was a large number of staff at the Crematorium, making sure everything ran smoothly. They then set everything up at China Fleet, in readiness for the ceremony.John Ware was there throughout, a very reassuring presence. He had a copy of what I planned to say, ready to step in if I couldn't do it. He informed the staff there when we needed more chairs etc. His technician provided good back-up, playing the music and a slideshow. The whole day ran incredibly smoothly, mainly due to the organisation, caring approach and professionalism of John Ware. My husband would have been so proud. Thank you.

I am so grateful to Walter C. Parsons for the help and support they showed me with the recent passing of my wife. Everything was handled in professional manner. Martin was very good with gilding me through the whole thing and especially day of the funeral, he never tried to rush me always saying take you time there’s no rush. I would recommend W C Parsons to anyone looking for undertaker. Excellent team.

Amazing people who look after you throughout your difficult journey, nothing is too much trouble, anything you want they make possible or try their best to achieve. Harriet did my fathers funeral, on the day harriet and her co workers looked stunning, so professional and they even wore the ties of the colour scheme. My nan has recently used them for my grandads funeral also im not sure what the man was called but he has been brilliant. All the staff even the receptionists are fantastic. Such a good service wouldnt go anywhere else now. Also very reasonable prices.
