We cannot thank Matt Weeks enough for the care and professionalism he showed when helping us arrange our dad’s funeral. Every detail was thought through and nothing was ever too much trouble. He was empathetic and handled our wishes with the utmost care and respect throughout. A huge thank you to Steve and Matt Jarman, who attended when Dad passed away. They were incredibly respectful, compassionate and understanding, and never once made us feel rushed, even engaging with the younger family members do they were not scared about what happening to grandad. We will forever be grateful to them because of their kindness on that day. They didn’t overstep, simply made things much easier to digest and took a huge pressure of my sister and I. As someone who works within the funeral profession myself, I appreciate the importance of getting every detail right, and I could not fault any part of the arrangements. Everything was handled with such care and professionalism, which gave our family great reassurance. Our drivers David and Martin were wonderful, especially with Nan. Tanya at Plympton was also fantastic, efficient, and helpful. Matt Weeks, Matt Jarman, Steve and Tanya are all a true credit to the company. Thank you all for looking after our family so thoughtfully and for giving Dad the funeral he deserved.

Shaun, Tanya and the team at WCP worked hand-in-glove with the family to create just the right send off for our mother (and our father 28 years ago). Very easy to work alongside the team that has earned them the family's respect and gratitude. Well done all.

Just a wonderful service under the circumstances. Communication was excellent it felt like you were dealing with friends. We had Penny Whitell who carried out the service and it was so lovely and she really captured our loved ones personality so perfectly. Thank you to all involved.

My brother Alan and I would like to thank the staff at Walter C Parsons , particularly Sean(Shaun) and Tania , for the excellent way they handled my mother’s arrangements and service. They actually dealt with my father 43 years ago too, so it was so appropriate they dealt with mum. Great and compassionate service from everyone involved with my dad’s cremation from Walter Parsons. We used them 10years ago for my mum and had great service from them then which is why we chose them again. Couldn’t praise them enough.

I would like to express my sincerest thanks to everyone at W.C. Parson, the care and attention given to my dad myself and all of my family has been exceptional, right down to the smallest detail that didn’t go unnoticed, for example the photo that belonged to my nephew was placed next to the seat he was in after the service. It was also lovely to see a woman pallbearer Alexandra- who I met with Shaun when they kindly arranged a weekend chapel visit to see my Dad - when they were on call. Steve should be very proud of his son John who continues the Parson family funeral service in an outstanding manner. Finally my Dad would have loved the new hearse complete with internal lights similar to Her Majesty the Queen! It’s a great comfort to know he had the final journey he so deserved. What can I say about Walter C Parsons in Crown Hill. Amazing staff excellent service from them. They looked after my son Luke last year in end of June beginning of July. Harriet was the most amazing professional person we every had the opportunity to meet. Just wish it was understood different circumstances. She went beyond her duties to go and talk to are son when she was in her office. So thank you so much Harriet and all at Walter C Parsons. (Plympton branch) I don't normally write reviews, but on this occasion I felt I had to, Keith and his team of Plympton recently helped me in the funeral arrangements of my late mother. Their care, compassion and kindness is something I will never forget. It was the hardest time of my life but they made it so much easier for me and nothing was too much trouble, the Chapel of rest was something I dreaded and was worried mum wouldn't be made up correctly, she looked absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, the funeral was perfect and you did my mum proud so I just wanted to take the time to thank you all from the bottom of my heart x

Walter C Parson (Plympton branch), were the company who I went to for my husband's funeral recently, and I have to say that it was a wise choice. From my first meeting in their office to the day of the funeral, the staff could not have been more helpful or compassionate. They answered all my questions and did not try to sell me anything I hadn't asked for. On the day, the arrival of the hearse at the crematorium was conducted with great dignity, respect and professionalism. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Funerals are never happy events, but Walter Parson's made the occasion less stressful and more bearable, and I can sincerely recommend them to anyone who is in the sad position of having to choose a funeral director.

My family and myself were thrown into the maelstrom of a funeral for my Father (L.Richards) Walter Parsons walked us through the whole process. they made it clear and took the burden off our shoulders. The professionalism shown and the care they took of my family was exceptional. If a funeral can be called good, then the one organised by Walter Parsons was first class.
