We strive to deliver a first class service, one which would only be acceptable to a member of our own family. We believe, maintaining this strong ethos through our staff and by training them to the highest standards of the profession, we are able to consistently deliver this service to our clients.

We purchased The Old Police Station in December 2017. It has since been thoughtfully transformed into a funeral home to serve the people of Callington and the surrounding area. Our offices are situated in the centre of town at Saltash Road, with ample customer parking.

We are very proud of our premises which provide a modern, personal and professional feel with a warm welcome to those visiting our office with easy parking, level access and comfortable facilities. These include a reception, arrangement office, two chapels of rest – which can be opened to create a service chapel for up to 20 people, a state-of-the-art mortuary and garage.

Martyn Hall is the resident funeral director, with 15 years’ experience as a qualified funeral director. He is able to offer professional advice without obligation.

At our Callington office we offer local direct cremation, competitively priced simple funerals and completely personalised traditional funeral services. Fully guaranteed pre-paid funeral plans are also available.

Our Callington office serves Callington, Launceston and the surrounding areas.

We want to say Thankyou to all Walter Parsons staff in the Callington office, and to Martyn and Stuart in particular, for the way they managed the funeral arrangements for our Mother last week. They made a very difficult time so much easier by offering an extraordinary service which included all aspects, from orders of service, newspaper notification, celebrant and flowers. We appreciated this attention to detail so much and especially as our experience with another company on the occasion of our Father's death four years ago, was markedly different. You & your team truly held & guided us at a difficult time. From the 1st call they dealt with me with kindness & compassion. Everything was explained calmly & dealt with promptly. You were especially kind and considerate to my aunt and I who are not able to physically move smoothly. When I first left my message at WCP Callington on your answer machine, I really did not know what to expect or the level of service I was going to get. You returned my call. Your ability to quickly put me at ease, the friendly mannerism, your calmness, and the warmth you just managed to put across the phone conversation from the very start - is something very special. And I have had quite a bit of experience of managing relationships with funeral directors having previously worked in Children’s Hospice. You were committed to providing support, compassionate in so many ways, providing me with the necessary information as well as useful information that would come in handy, and direction throughout the process and in such a special and efficient way. My Papa’s wish was for no one to attend his funeral. Martyn, you made this difficult situation by going above and beyond and for that our sincere thanks to you and your team for looking after our Papa. WCP should be very proud to have you representing them. You truly eased what was a very difficult day for my family and especially for me. At a time in life when everything had been hard and emotional. Thank you, Martyn, so grateful to you for returning Papa’s ashes back in a beautiful, presented way.

Firstly a big Thankyou for the exemplary service that you provided us with yesterday and since my fathers passing on Feb 7th 2024. I had previously recommended you to friends of ours,following previous comments from someone else who had used Walter C Parsons a few years back at Saltash. And my instincts certainly served me right,when i asked you at Callington Branch to take on my fathers funeral too. Right from.the initial moment i was welcomed into your office with a friendly face,a warm greeting,and nice cuppa coffee,i knew that we were in safe hands. The whole package your staff provided was carried out with experienced presicion at every part of the funeral process, Being an organiser of many things with Callington Lions and running our 3 generation family building business, i always have an attention to detail(my wife calling me Mr Organised),and with this in mind i find it difficult to let anyone organise anything for me and to let go. But i have to say that your attention to detail as a team was spot on,and i am so humbled that i put my father into your care. You certainly did us proud!!!,and we cannot thankyou enough. Yesterday was a very smooth conclusion to my fathers passing,and we felt very much at ease and looked after with true care and dedication during a very upsetting time in our lives. I cannot thank Martyn and Karla enough, from the outset they were very professional , caring, easy to talk to, nothing was too much trouble, it made the day of the funeral and days leading up to it so much more bearable.The funeral went very smoothly and all the comments about Parsons were very favourable. From the bottom of my heart thank you for making a difficult time easier to cope with.

All the staff were very caring and compassionate, we were able to use the chapel of rest in Callington, for our small service. Nothing was too much trouble.
