It means choosing to be held accountable and to a higher standard. As funeral directors that are NAFD Members, our premises and the care we provide are independently inspected by NAFD Standards & Compliance Officers, and funeral directors must meet strict requirements before being accepted as members. We commit to the NAFD UK Funeral Director Code, promoting transparency, professionalism and, most importantly, high standards of care for the families we look after. Which should be non-negotiable and at the forefront of all we do.Membership means keeping up with ever-changing regulations, continued training and having access to up-to-date industry guidance. It means that should a family ever have a complaint, NAFD Resolve provides an independent process to ensure it is dealt with fairly. But ultimately, we’re members because we care. We choose, and pay an annual fee, to be scrutinised. We choose to follow a professional code. We choose to keep learning and improving: to be better, to adapt with the profession and the changes surrounding it. Because when families place their trust in us at one of the most difficult times in their lives, we want to know that we are doing everything we can to give them the very best care.
