Do I have to wait until I have registered the death to speak to the funeral director?

Today, funeral director Keith Peacock provides insight into when to contact a funeral director after a death. He answers:

Do I have to wait until I have registered the death to speak to the funeral director?

No, you are able to sit down with your funeral director to discuss the options available to you. However, until the death has been registered, it would be unwise to decide on dates. If the coroner is involved in the discussion, this also might delay making any bookings. Your funeral director will advise you accordingly.
