Where do I register a death in Plymouth?

“When a death has occurred in Plymouth, the death needs to be registered in that district.

Currently, deaths can be registered at Derriford Business Park, 1 Derriford Park, Plymouth PL6 5QZ, and recently introduced is the option to register a death at The Park Crematorium, 205 Merafield Road, Plymouth PL7 1UQ, which may be more convenient for families living locally to our Plympton and Plymstock offices.

Please note that registration appointments are by appointment only, and Plymouth Registry Office will contact the person responsible for dealing with the funeral arrangements via phone call to arrange this.

There is also the option to register by declaration at another registry office within England and Wales, and we would be happy to advise you on this if needed.”
