Parson serving the local community of Newton Abbot, Torquay and surrounding areas.Hugh Mills & Gaye are Newton Abbot’s longest established Funeral Directors.The original business was formed in 1805 by Hugh Mills, who was renowned for constructing many of Newton Abbot’s landmark churches and buildings, alongside his funeral directing business.Hugh Mills & Gaye was then acquired by Walter C. Parson in July 2006.In the time since our acquisition, we have moved from our original premises into a purpose-built funeral home located in King Street, Newton Abbot as the previous premises were not to the standard we consider acceptable.Our office in Babbacombe, Torquay has been fully refurbished and both premises have client parking and qualified, caring staff who take great pride in the work they do.
