Covid-19 Update – 11th September

We are pleased to confirm that funerals are exempt from the new ‘rule of 6’ which comes into effect from Monday 14th September, which means that up to 30 family and friends are still able to attend a funeral service, although in some smaller venues the limit is less due to social distancing.

The guidelines from each Crematorium in our area are as follows:

Weston Mill Crematorium, Plymouth – 16 mourners, sat in alternate pews.
Efford Crematorium, Plymouth – 12 mourners, sat in alternate pews.
Glynn Valley Crematorium – 25 mourners seated inside, with an additional 5 mourners stood outside the chapel.
Torquay Crematorium – 20 mourners.
Exeter Crematorium – 12 mourners (St. Paul’s), 30 mourners (St. Peter’s).
East Devon Crematorium – 30 mourners.
