Graphic Design Assistant

£9.00/hour

30 hours a week plus holiday cover as required

5 week’s holiday per year

Walter C. Parson is a family business established in 1842 which has remained in the family for seven generations.  We strive to deliver a first class service, one which would only be acceptable to a member of our own family.

We are seeking a Graphic Design Assistant to support the graphics department based at our Crownhill Head Office. This is a varied role that involves the design and production of Orders of Service, editing and re-touching of photographs, the design of marketing materials such as adverts, booklets and brochures, and the design/maintenance of our Company website.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of graphics and multimedia products having gained previous experience working in the field.  A qualification in graphics is essential and a portfolio of previous work will be required for the interview process.

You will need to be flexible, well presented, trustworthy, courteous and polite. Self-motivation, attention to details and the ability to deal with people with empathy whilst at the same time having a smile on your face are also a must for this role.
