Administrator – Graphics (Maternity Cover)

Walter C. Parson is a family business established in 1842 which has remained in the family for seven generations.  We strive to deliver a first class service, one which would only be acceptable to a member of our own family. We have a 9-month maternity cover vacancy for an Administrator in our Graphic Design Team.

We are seeking an Administrator to support the graphics department based at our Crownhill Head Office. This is a varied role that involves the design and production of Orders of Service, editing and re-touching of photographs, recording holidays, stationery ordering, the design of some marketing materials such as adverts, and the maintenance of our Company website.

Previous graphic design experience is not essential, but the successful candidate will be IT literate and willing to learn how to use Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw and Microsoft Office software. Full training will be provided.

You will need to be flexible, well presented, trustworthy, courteous and polite. Self-motivation, attention to details and the ability to deal with people with empathy whilst at the same time having a smile on your face are also a must for this role.

We are open to discussion around working hours in the region of 30 to 40 hours per week, but the role is office based due to the requirement to print orders of service in-house.
