With a heavy heart his sons Martin and Tim announce the sudden passing of David (Finny) Finneron, discovered at his home in Tamerton Foliot on the 17th December 2022. Aged 60, Dad was a former Royal Marine who was proud of his military service. He was a devoted Dad, brother, Uncle and father-in-law, and more recently lived his best moments as a loving Grandad to his three grandchildren Poppy, Rory and Felix in Plymouth. Born in Stoke-on-Trent with family ties there and in Plymouth, Dad’s passing will leave a huge void to those who knew him, family and friends. You made your sons proud of you and you were unfortunately taken from us too early. Your memory will live on in us all, and we will continue to make you proud of the men we have become.
Funeral service will be held at Glynn Valley Crematorium, Bodmin on Saturday 14th January at 11.30am. All that knew him are welcome, attendees are asked to bring cards with stories and memories of David written in for the family to keep.
Either flowers or donations if desired for SSAFA or The Royal Marines Charity may be left online at wcpltd.com.
