Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 7th July 2024, at home with all his loving family around him.
Aged 86 years.

Devoted husband of Florence Maud.
Loving dad of Paul, Jane and Ann.
Loving father-in-law of Allison and Richard.
Cherished grandad of Chloe, Jack, James and Rebecca.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you and whispered “come to me”.
With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
he only takes the best.

Funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Church on Friday 9th August at 11.00am followed by cremation at Weston Mill Crematorium.
