David died aged 88 on Friday 19th January after a short illness.
Incredibly loved by his family, David was husband of Pamela Rose (deceased), father of Charles, Michael (deceased), father-in-law to Catherine and grandfather to Grace, Frederick and Anna-Rose.
Senior Partner of Wolferstans Solicitors for 29 years until his retirement in 2001, David was then appointed to the prestigious Criminal Injuries’ Compensation Board.
David’s life also centred around his love of rugby and cricket. He served two terms as President of Plymouth Albion RFC (1986-91 and 2016-18), presided as Vice Chairman of Somerset CC (2005-17) and sat for several years as a member of the ECB disciplinary panel.
Funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Church, Plymouth on Tuesday 13th February at 11am, followed by a gathering at Plymouth Rugby Club at 1pm.
Dress code Black clothing is optional and sporting ties for men.
No flowers by request. Donations if desired for St Luke's Hospice Plymouth.
