Dennis Leslie Colwill

It is with the deepest sadness and broken hearts that we announce that on 10th July 2026, our much-loved dad,
Dennis Leslie Colwill
(“Denny Satan”)
peacefully gained his wings and left this world.

Dad was born into a large and loving family and was the second youngest son of Leslie and Elester. He is now reunited with the love of his life, our dear mum Mary, along with his beloved brothers and sisters: Marion, Phyllis, Ivy, Lawrence (Ronnie), Margaret (Tessie), Mertyl, Joey, Carol, Elester, Michael and Monica. Left to cherish his memory are his loving brother Christopher and sister Marie.

To everyone who knew him, Dad was one of a kind. He had a heart full of kindness, a wonderful sense of humour, and a smile that could brighten anyone’s day. He was loved by so many and made friends wherever he went. In his younger years, many will remember him as one half of the rock ‘n’ roll duo Mike and Denny Satan, entertaining crowds and creating memories that have lasted a lifetime.

Above all else, Dad was devoted to his family. He leaves behind his heartbroken daughter Alyson and son-in-law Phil, their children Leona, Ria and Fred, and two cherished great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his loving son Shaun and daughter-in-law Emma, their sons Danny, Tyler, Shaun, Clay, Cooper and Kidd, and five adored great-grandchildren.

The hole Dad has left in our lives can never be filled. Although our hearts are shattered, we find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering and is finally at peace, reunited with those he loved and missed so dearly.

Dad, you were our strength, our laughter, our protector and our biggest supporter. Thank you for the love you gave us, the lessons you taught us and the memories that we will treasure forever. We will miss your voice, your smile, your stories and your hugs more than words can ever express.

Sleep peacefully, our beautiful Dad, our precious RaRa, our much-loved Grand. Until we meet again, you will live on in our hearts every single day.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten.

Funeral Service will be held at
The Park Crematorium
(Ceremony room 1)
Merafield Road, Plympton,
PL7 1UQ on
Wednesday 5th August 2026
at 11.00am.
