Rex Down

It is with great sadness that the family of
Rex Down, founder of
Rex Down Wholesale Fish Merchants
announce his passing.
Rex passed away peacefully at home
on 21st June 2025, aged 79.

He will be lovingly remembered by his Wife Kath.
His Children, Evette, Marie-Anne, Rikki, Katrice, Seamon and Melissa and their Partners,

his Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, his Brother Lloyd and many more relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at
The Minster Church of St. Andrew
on Tuesday 22nd July at 2.00pm followed by a family cremation at The Park.

In honour of Rex’s love for the sea, those attending are invited to wear something blue.
