Passed peacefully in the loving embrace of family back home on Cornish soil after a valiant battle for life on 28th December 2023, aged 83 years. Courageous till the end.
Beloved wife of the late Edwin James DuMorris Eddy. Cherished mother of Shay, Darryl, Delville, Paul, Jonathan, Rebecca, and the late Luke Ross Eddy. Treasured grandmother to Naomi, Francesca, Lauren, Charley, Rachael, Bethany, Catherine, Matthew, Alex, Eric, Amelia, Finn, Zane, Tom, Alfie, Morgan, and Ellie. Much loved great grandmother to Toby, Evie, Izzie, Charlotte, Avianna, Florence, Eva, Bonnie, and Dottie.
Mum, the legacy for your loving family is one of outstanding bravery, resilience, and your unwavering faith, all of which enabled you to find joy in every waking moment despite the suffering that you were forced to endure.
In the words of Ezekial 19 verse 2 “What was your mother? A lioness among lions. She lay down among young lions and reared her cubs.” We honour your memory.
A vibrant and loving woman who will be missed by all who knew her. An example to us all.
Funeral service to take place at Glynn Valley Crematorium on Friday 26th January 2024 at 12.30pm.
