“We would like to thank you and all the staff at Pidgen and Son who supported us through the planning and Jenny’s funeral. It was the first time we had to make any funeral arrangements, and David was most helpful in providing us with options for each stage.

For us, the key things that made Jenny’s funeral particularly special were:

• The option to commit Jenny at the church service, thus keeping the attendees together for her memorial toast, rather than driving to Bodmin and back.

• The Reflection photo montage during the church service, as we could celebrate Jenny for who she was across her 61 years, rather than leaving everyone with memories of the person with health issues that she had become over the past few years – they could see her running, swimming, climbing mountains, riding her 850cc Kawasaki motorbike and donning fancy dress at every opportunity – this is the Jenny we know and will remember and we are grateful for the opportunity to share her story with all those that attended, so that they will remember her in that way too.

It was touching to hear feedback from attendees about the funeral arrangements, such as “you done her proud” – that was what we set out to do and that was what Pidgen and Son helped us to achieve.
