Happy Retirement, Rod!

On Friday, we said farewell to Rod Pender, our Transport Manager at Plympton, as he began his well-deserved retirement. Rod joined WCP in 2011, initially as a part-time Driver and Bearer, before working his way up to become Transport Manager, responsible for the planning of timings, routes and staffing for every funeral we have the privilege of conducting.

Rod has worked full-time since leaving school 60 years ago, so certainly deserves to have a very long, happy and healthy retirement. He is pictured receiving a watch purchased by all of his colleagues.
