Plymouth Has Two New Crematoria

Did you know that there are now two new Crematoria in the Plymouth area?

The Park Crematorium

205 Merafield Road, Plympton, Plymouth PL7 1UQ.

Plymouth City Council’s new crematorium, The Park, opened in August 2024 when Efford and Weston Mill closed for cremations.

There are three modern, bright, comfortable ceremony rooms, accommodating 120, 80 and 12 mourners.

Tamar Valley Crematorium

Tamerton Road, Roborough, Plymouth PL6 7BQ

Tamar Valley Crematorium opened in the North of the City in October 2025.

Located on the edge of Dartmoor and set in long-established woodland, the chapel has seating for 80 mourners.
