Turf Cutting Ceremony at Tamar Valley Crematorium

On 18th July, Ayesha Slader attended a turf cutting ceremony at Tamar Valley Crematorium in her role as the President of the Cornwall Area Federation of the National Association of Funeral Directors.

The Tamar Valley Crematorium is situated at Roborough on the Devon side of the Tamar River and set in beautiful native woodland with splendid views across the valley to Bodmin Moor and beyond.  This new state of the art crematorium will become operational in April 2025 and serve the area indicated by its name. This will include many towns in Devon and Cornwall, not least Tavistock, Callington, Saltash, Launceston and Okehampton as well as parts of the City of Plymouth.
