We take into our hearts and minds the sacrifice of those who did not return after giving the ultimate sacrifice for the Queen and country. We recall the horrors so many faced and the ongoing suffering that went with the war campaign. We in today’s world owe so much to those who were involved. To all those veterans and families, have a great VE Day and enjoy the celebrations; it has been well deserved.
