Walter C. Parson Cup Final 2022

The Walter C. Parson League Cup Final was hosted by Launceston AFC at their Pennygillam Stadium which was in just as fine a form as the football served up by St Blazey and Torpoint Athletic on a day bathed in sunshine.

An excellent crowd of 500+ witnessed a very closely fought first half of fast paced football but the teams went in 0-0 at half time.

In the second half Torpoint slowly edged in front and eventually came out as 3-1 winners of the WCP Cup!

Stephen and John Ware (Directors of WCP) were pleased to present the trophies to the match officials, runners-up St Blazey and double winners Torpoint Athletic to mark the eighth season of consecutive sponsorship.

Congratulations to Torpoint Athletic on a tremendous season.
